The FERAG Conveying-system with single gripper technology consists of:

Forwarding Station

The UTR forwarding station conceived for the pick-up of the most varied print products at the folder delivery.

The grippers can pick-up thin products as well as thick, either as single or multiple copies, for targeted transfer to any process down the conveyor line.

Double Forwarding station

Presses with two or four deliveries can run in the split modus i.e.

• 100 % of the production at folder delivery A or B

or

• 50 % of the production (product 1) at folder delivery A
• 50 % of the production (product 2) at folder delivery B

Linked forwarding station

The forwarding station at tabloid and A3 folder delivery are linked. Depending on the production, the products are transferred directly to the next component or bypassing the linked forwarding station and to the next component.

Waste release at forwarding station

When starting the press, waste can be removed at the forwarding station.

Waste release in the conveying route

Exact removal of single copies or sections (splicer, blanket washing ...) in any place within the conveying line.
We use the signals of the press and do not leave it to the subjective impression of the operator to remove the waste. That results in a reduction of waste.

By pressing a button at the press panel, one gripper is opened and the check copy arrives via sledge
